Shangela: Straight Outta Paris at The Laurie Beechman Theatre

All-around entertainer Shangela brings her trademark "halleloo" and maybe a few alter egos to the Big Apple for her latest show, Straight Outta Paris. Also known as actor D.J. Pierce and comedian Laquifa, Shangela tells the true and truly hilarious story of how she managed to go from growing up a small Texas town to the heights of reality-TV stardom on RuPaul's Drag Race and beyond. She's also made several noted appearances on shows like Community, The Soup, Dance Moms and Glee, not to mention as a guest mentor on Toddlers & Tiaras. Her fabulousness is said to increase exponentially when experienced in person.
