The Laurie Beechman Theatre is an 80-seat dinner theatre located in the basement of the West Bank Cafe just west of Times Square. The theatre was opened in 1983 by the cafe owner to provide a venue for performers active in the New York theatre scene. The building has seen many stars - Bruce Willis was a bartender here, and Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller and Sean Penn were regulars.
