The Lincoln Center Theater was revived in 1985 by Chairman John V. Lindsay and Director Gregory Mosher. Executive Producer Bernard Gersten was also involved in its revival. The New York Times ranked it as "the most important theater in the nation" in their annual list. The organization today produces dozens upon musicals and plays under the direction of Chairman Eric M. Mindich, Andre Bishop, Producing Artistic Director, and the Vivian Beaumont Theater, Mitzi E. Neuhouse Theater, Claire Tow Theater and other venues.
