Written by Paul and Michael Hodge, Clinton The Musical, made head-lines this past summer at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. This spring, Clinton The Musical will get its official Off-Broadway premiere directed by Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges (Tail! Spin!, Lysistrata Jones, Xanadu). Performances will begin on March 25, and Opening Night will be on Thursday, April 9 atNew World Stages (340 West 50 Street). If President William Jefferson Clinton behaved like two different people-one moment noble, the next naughty-that's because he was! Clinton The Musical explores the two very different sides of the 42nd President of the United States: "WJ," the wholesome, intelligent one, and "Billy," the randy, charming one. With Hillary (Rodham) Clinton at their side, the two will handle issues from The White House to Whitewater, the sax to the sex, social security to social climbers, and in the process make history. Maybe. You cannot miss this "hillary-ous" new musical and outrageous double bill!

Kerry Butler was last seen on Broadway as Mabel Cantwell in The Best Man. Other Broadway credits include Catch Me if You Can (Drama Desk Nomination), Xanadu (Tony nomination, Drama League nomination), Rock of Ages, Hairspray (Clarence Derwent Award, Drama Desk/Outer Critic Circle nominations), Little Shop of Horrors (Outer Critics nomination), Les Miserables, Blood Brothers, and Beauty and the Beast. Off-Broadway/regional: Bat Boy: The Musical, The Opposite of Sex (Williamstown), Miracle Brothers (Vineyard Theater), The I Word (EST),The Folsom Head (Currican Theater), Prodigal (York Theatre). TV/film credits include: "Blue Bloods," "Rescue Me," "30 Rock," "Cupid," "Lipstick Jungle," "Borough "Borough of Kings," "One Life to Live," "Sesame Street," "Hometown," "Another World," and "Twins" (pilot).
