One Night With Fanny Brice

One Night With Fanny Brice

13th Street Repertory Company
50 West 13th Street New York

One of the brightest radio stars of all time, Fanny Brice rose from poverty to become America's highest-paid singing comedian. Among her many other stage, radio and film appearances, she headlined the Ziegfeld Follies for more than a dozen years, and her life was memorably dramatized by Barbra Streisand in the hit Broadway musical and film Funny Girl. Now ASCAP award-winning writer Chip Deffaa has crafted a one-woman show featuring songs Brice made famous, including "Bill Bailey," "I Am Always Chasing Rainbows," "Second Hand Rose," "My Man" and "You Made Me Love You." This show is directed by Rachel Hundert and stars Chloe Brooks in the title role.
