Sondheim Unplugged at 54 Below

A celebrated New York event since 2010, the Bistro Award-winning series that celebrates Stephen Sondheim and his legendary career takes the stage at 54 Below. Sondheim Unplugged features some of Broadway and cabaret's most dynamic voices, accompanied solely by piano, singing numbers from A Little Night Music, Company, Into the Woods, Follies, Passion, Dick Tracy and more. Past special guests have included actors who originated roles in Sondheim's musicals, including Len Cariou, Victoria Mallory, Chip Zien and Donna McKechnie, so you never know who might drop in. Series creator Phil Geoffrey Bond hosts the show, and in between numbers shares Sondheim facts, history and related theatrical lore.
