Lennon: Through A Glass Onion

The Union Square Theatre
100 East 17th Street New York

The life and music of John Lennon comes alive in Lennon: Through a Glass Onion. Part biographical monologue, part concert, this innovative show stars acclaimed London-born Australian actor-singer John R. Waters and features all of your favorite Lennon tunes, from Beatles collaborations like "A Day in the Life," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Revolution" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" to solo career hits like "Woman," "Jealous Guy" and many more. Throughout the musical journey, Waters (as Lennon) will narrate, revealing details of his life and art, and perform with accompanist Stewart D'Arrietta dead-on renditions of beloved Lennon songs. The result is an intimate portrait of one of the most iconic figures of the 20th century. Called "a deeply felt reflection of the man" by The New York Times, Lennon previously played at the Sydney Opera House and ran for six months in London's West End.
