The play chronicles the home life of a Norwegian immigrant family in San Francisco around 1910, celebrating the family's struggles against the daily comedies and tragedies that make up the life of the average household. I Remember Mama was originally produced on Broadway in 1944 by Rodgers and Hammerstein, with a cast that included a young Marlon Brando in his Broadway debut. This production features ten tremendous actresses portraying all 25 roles
