A View From the Bridge

A View From the Bridge

Mark Strong (The Imitation Game, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy) heads up the National Theatre of London's production of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge, screened live from Britain at New York's Symphony Space. Miller's drama of obsessive love centers on a Brooklyn longshoreman who's infatuated with the orphaned niece he and his wife have been raising as a daughter. But their lives take a tragic turn when the girl falls for one of the family's recently immigrated Italian cousins. Helmed by Obie Award-winning Belgian director Ivo van Hove, this revival of 1955's A View From the Bridge has been hailed as both "visceral and vital" by The Guardian.
