New World Stages is constructed on (and under) the site of the former Madison Square Garden just west of Times Square. The newly renovated underground facility is centered around a large common lobby and public art gallery and features two bars, a coat check, generous bathroom facilities and a separate public lounge. The facility offers distinct stages ranging in size from 199 to 499 seats and is convenient to numerous hotels, restaurants, transportation and parking. Stage 3 is one of the largest in the facility, measuring 5,500 square feet.
