BOOP! The Musical Reviews
The New York Times- Not Recommended
"...?Boop! The Musical? ? now playing at the Broadhurst Theater, in a production directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell ? is a ?why?? show par excellence."

"...What?s most fun about ?Boop!? is the interplay between the color and black-and-white worlds, achieved through a collaboration of designers. The work of costume designer Gregg Barnes shines, for example, in the musical number at the top of Act II, ?Where is Betty?? Each member of the ensemble is wearing a costume that?s in color in front, and black-and-white in back (or vice-versa) which, in coordination with Jerry Mitchell?s choreography, allows the scene, and everybody in it, to turn from color to black-and-white and back again in an instant."

"...When she lands, amusingly at Comic Con at the Javits Center, she goes from Kansas to Oz. Bright pops of color dance around the stage and Betty meets a different type of larger-than-life person in the five boroughs."
Chicago Tribune- Highly Recommended
"...Ignore the cynics and their interest in intimidating ironic innovation! With the market tanking and worry exploding all around, affordable escapism soon will be having a boffo moment at the Broadway box office. Enter at the Broadhurst Theatre a joyous, retro, family-friendly charmer for a discombobulated world. Director Jerry Mitchell?s sing-and-smile-along production of ?Boop! The Musical? is like gulping a glass of fizzy sangria after a rough day, heck, after a rough three months and counting of stress and strife."
