A musical spoof of the theater world, this comedy takes aim at all the stereotypes right down to the casting couch. During auditions, actors for a gay musical are asked to bare their soles and a bit more to get the part. Entertaining, high-spirited and filled with great songs, Theater Boys follows a naïve young actor and a former child star who are both auditioning for the same role. Told through comic and heartfelt flashbacks, the two actors are able to find common ground through their coming-out experiences as teens.
