America's pre-eminent Gilbert & Sullivan repertory ensemble, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, brings one of the pair's most beloved operettas, The Pirates of Penzance, to the stage. This comic, seafaring tale revolves around handsome young pirate Frederic, who has yet to see a beautiful young woman. Along with his band of ruffians, he meets the woman of his dreams only to have their romance by halted by a very unique technicality.
