Inspired by The Golden Girls, the beloved Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning sitcom of the '80s and '90s, Thank You For Being a Friend returns to the stage by popular demand. In this hilariously unauthorized musical parody, four women over the age of 60 -- the promiscuous Blanchette, the ball busting Dorthea, the ditzy Roz and the bitingly sarcastic Sophie (all played here by beautifully bewigged men) -- live relatively peacefully together in a bungalow in Miami. But when neighbor Ricky Martin's noisy outdoor sex parties begin interrupting the ladies' cheesecake feasts, a battle begins that can only be settled in one place: the annual Shady Oaks Retirement Home Talent Show.
