Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow rises again, transformed into a spooky musical by Michael Sgouros and Brenda Bell. Set in 1790, this enduring piece of Americana tells the story of a romantic rivalry between skinny schoolteacher Ichabod Crane and town rowdy Brom Van Brunt over a wealthy farmer's daughter. Alas, Crane soon comes face-to-missing-face with the Headless Horseman, believed to be the ghost of a Revolutionary War soldier, and then mysteriously disappears. Sleepy Hollow was nominated for a 2013 Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Original Music.
