Return to Gray Gardens

Return to Gray Gardens

Baruch Performing Arts Center
55 Lexington Ave New York

RuPaul's Drag Race season five winner Jinkx Monsoon and San Francisco drag legend Peaches Christ star in the New York premiere of Return to Gray Gardens, a theatrical comedy that pays homage to the acclaimed documentary Grey Gardens. Set 40 years into the future, the story documents the lives of aging drag mother "Big Peachy" and her bitter drag daughter "Lil' Jinkxy" (based on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis kin Edith and Edie Bouvier Beale). The pitiful pair continues to perform for an empty house at the now "dilapidated and run-down" Mason Hall in New York City. What will become of them? And will their famous and successful royal drag cousin step up and help out? This original stage show, written and directed by Joshua Grannell (aka, Peaches), also features John Waters muse Mink Stole in a cast of 14 fabulously over-the-top performers. Return to Gray Gardens camps it up for one night only at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.
