PS 69: A Teacher Grows in Brooklyn

Being a substitute teacher in New York City can give you enough hilarious material to write a show, and that's just what stand-up artist Susan Jeremy did. In PS 69: A Teacher Grows in Brooklyn, Jeremy plays multiple roles -- teacher, administrator, student and parent -- as she shares her days dealing with Ritalin-fueled, government-neglected Brooklyn school children and navigating the bureaucratic mazes and chaotic corridors of the school system. Jeremy has performed her semi-autobiographical show throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, and picked up "Best Comedy" at the Montreal Fringe Festival.
