NTLive Screening: Medea at Leonard Nimoy Thalia, Symphony Space

British star of stage and screen Helen McCrory (Penny Dreadful, the Harry Potter series) stars in Euripides' brutal tale of vengeance rooted in Greek mythology. Medea is the quintessential woman scorned, hellbent on making her husband, Jason, pay for his transgressions and destroying everything in her path. As she goes about exacting her revenge, music written by electro duo Goldfrapp sets the scene. Director Carrie Cracknell brings playwright Ben Power's adapted version of this classic to London's National Theatre. Medea then broadcasts from the London stage to screens around the world.
