New Artists Festival: A Family Affair

New Artists Festival: A Family Affair

13th Street Repertory Company
50 West 13th Street New York

A team of young theater artists -- two producers, four directors, eight writers and 25 actors, many of them making their New York City debut -- all come together for this year's New Artist's Festival sharing works that convey all sides of one theme: family. Showing on different nights, you can see two full-length plays -- David Lindsay-Abaire's Pulitzer Prize-winning The Rabbit Hole about loss and Carlos Murillo's Dark Play, or Stories for Boys about a teenage boy's fictional internet identity -- plus seven new short works written for the festival.
