Murder Margaret and Me at Baruch Performing Arts Center

A hit in London before winning a FringeNYC award at this year's festival, this one-woman show is a real-life Agatha Christie mystery, with Miss Marple and her longtime portrayer Margaret Rutherford, at its heart. Christie, the ever imperious author, wasn't too keen on Rutherford, who was famous for her comedic roles in Blithe Spirit and The Importance of Being Earnest, taking on the role of the seriously brilliant Miss Marple. So Christie herself plays detective in an attempt to ferret out the truth behind a long-buried secret in the actress' past. Murder, Margaret & Me appears as part of the Best of FringeNYC 2014 series.
