The world-famous Joffrey Ballet School, along with guest artists from the Joffrey Concert Group, bring their beloved production of The Nutcracker to life with the help of close to 300 dancers, impressive sets, colorful costumes and more, all set to Tchaikovsky's timeless score. This annual yuletide ballet tells the story of a young girl named Clara who receives a magical nutcracker doll one Christmas Eve, and sets out on a adventurous journey to the Land of the Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Dancing mice, dolls and sugar plums are all part of the fun as students from the children's, youth ballet and ballet trainee programs star in this full-length version of the traditional holiday favorite.
