A serial killer stalks a Texas town, but he might have met his match in his latest would-be victim in the black comedy Catch the Butcher. Lauren Luna Velez (TV's Dexter) stars as Nancy, a woman who, sensing a kindred spirit in the poetry the killer leaves on his victims, sets out to be abducted by the murderer. She soon finds herself in a basement with Bill (Jonathan Walker, The Assembled Parties), and proceeds to throw the psychopath for a loop as things take an unexpected turn. Backstage called Catch the Butcher "brilliant" and "skillfully funny," saying playwright Adam Seidel is "an up-and-coming playwright to watch." Catch this razor-sharp comedy at New York' s Cherry Lane Theatre.
