Casey: 30 Years Later! at Broadway Comedy Club

Based on the character Casey from the cult film Basket Case, Casey: 30 Years Later! catches up with the bartender three decades after the events of the film. Written by and starring Beverly Bonner, who played Casey in the horror movie, this bawdy live comedy captures the twisted spirit of the original film. Frank Henenlotter's Basket Case followed the exploits of formerly conjoined twin brothers, one of whom was a hideously deformed monster carried in a basket. Flash forward 30 years and Casey is still slinging drinks in the East Village while also running a call-girl service for aging prostitutes. She's surrounded by a cast of vulgar characters including the Sexy Senior Hookers, dumb waitresses, fans of the cult movie and her old friend Hands in the Basket.
