Bandstand at Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre

Bandstand brings the swing-fueled story of singer-songwriter Donny Novitski and his Post WWII-era band of mismatched fellow vets to the New York stage. When a national contest seeks America's next music sensation, Donny jumps at the chance at fame and Hollywood fortune. But in order to make it, he'll have to whip his band into fighting shape and team up with a beautiful young war widow as their singer. Together, they rip through an explosive original score, playing their hearts out for every voiceless underdog. This rousing production at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony-winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, In the Heights), starring two-time Tony nominee Laura Osnes (Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde), Broadway sensation Corey Cott (Newsies) and Tony winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone).
