A Tribute to Joyce Randolph

A Tribute to Joyce Randolph

Theatre 80
80 St. Mark's Place New York

On December 27th, 2014, Joyce Randolph -- best known for playing Trixie Norton on The Honeymooners -- will leave her handprint on Theatre 80's Walk of Fame, joining the many other stars enshrined on the historic site that's witnessed decades of change on the Lower East Side. In honor of Randolph's signing, actors Joe Sirola and Tandy Cronyn will bring their critically acclaimed one-person plays to the Theatre 80 stage. The tribute will kick off with Joyce Randolph's signing ceremony, immediately followed by Ages of Man (directed and performed by Joe Sirola), which uses speeches from a wide variety of Shakespearian plays and sonnets to describe the stages of a man's life, and Simon Bent's The Tall Boy (performed by Tandy Cronyn), a 2014 United Solo Festival Award-winning play that tells a compelling tale of displaced children in the aftermath of World War II.
